Servant of the Lord

Carlos Perez warmly known as Carlitos, a native of Puerto Rico, converted to the Lord at a young age (1982). Throughout the years Carlitos has been known to be a tremendous hard worker, teacher and an evangelist in the Lord’s ministry. Carlitos has worked vigorously in Massachusetts where he has live for approximately 20 years. Carlitos underwent his theological studies while residing in Massachusetts, and work for a number of churches to include the church in Northboro and Lawrence. From preaching to teaching to evangelism, Carlitos did what was necessary in order to move the Lord’s ministry forward. Carlitos understanding of the scriptures and his general knowledge of the Puerto Rican culture makes him an asset to the ministry on the Island, something we have all agree that is strongly needed. Carlitos moved to Puerto Rico back in 2005 and has live here ever since. Upon his return, Carlitos began his work with the church in Levittown under the supervision of his friend and spiritual counselor Jaffet Perez. Carlitos also worked for a brief period of time with the Puerto Rico Christian Academy, where he was love by his students and their parents. Because of the overwhelming need in Vega Baja, Carlitos was asked to go and attend to the church needs and to help bring the church back to life. Carlitos eagerly accepted the challenge and currently the church of Vega Baja has shown a significant improvement in membership attendance and their commitment. The Vega Baja church has revived, and grown with the older and new brethren having a feeling of happiness for such a positive change. Carlitos skills and knowledge are extremely valuable to not only Vega Baja church but to the others sisters churches throughout the island. Carlitos on numerous occasion has been invited to preach, mentor and lead young adults during the annual youth retreats and Sundays services. Carlitos has proven to be a valuable asset and much needed resource here in the island. Carlitos work is commendable and outstanding; his love for his brethren and the Lord is genuine and sincere. Carlitos pay is limited and his responsibilities are great, because of this Carlitos has sought other means of support, which if continue may have a direct negative impact on his ministry. Due to his needs, Carlitos spent many hours selling products on commission and needless to say this prevents him from working in the church on a full time basis and subsequently hinders the growth of the church. Because of this reason and many other reasons we are seeking the support of many of our brothers and sisters. Together we can make a different, you can become part of this ministry and the work of the Lord with you generous contribution and prayers. Whatever amount the Lord places in your heart, will help bring about the work of the Lord in Puerto Rico and assist in the growth of His Kingdom. Please send your prayers and financial support to: Iglesia de Cristo de Vega Baja (Church of Christ of Vega Baja), P O Box 4636, Vega Baja, PR 00694. May the Lord bless you all; Que Dios los bendiga grandemente.
Carlitos is currently endorsed by Jaffet Perez of Levittown , Santos Torres of Native Ministry and other from across the Island.
